Munchi was 6 years old when we adopted her from a breeder in Ocala 4 years ago. Being in our 70's at the time, we did not want to go thru the puppy stage of house breaking, chewing, training, etc. but wanted a mature dog. She is a perfect fit for our family but it took a little time for her to warm up to us as she is a timid dog not open to strangers and even other dogs. When she is out walking and sees other dogs, she turns to come home. She is not a barker or jumper but loves to cuddle when coaxed from her perch on the couch looking out the window. She is not a "snapper, growler or biter" but very gentle.
She needs a family or person who she can be loyal to as she will become your shadow.
The only reason we are putting her up for adoption is because both my husband and I have had recent health issues and now that we are in our 80's we feel Munchi should not be deprived of a good life in her senior years.
We will miss her terribly.
