Teddy is two and a half years old and twenty-seven pounds. I rescued him, but it is likely that he is a Jagdterrier (German Hunt Terrier). He is house trained and knows basics manners like sitting, lay down, high five, touch, stay, sit pretty, and rollover. He has some separation anxiety, but he should get better in time. Teddy likes to play rough, so living with other dogs might not be best for him, especially if they are bigger than him. He loves to bark, especially at other dogs, people, bikes, and noises. He is very friendly and loves everyone, but he has snapped at people on occasion when he gets startled. He does okay in the crate, but he does not like it. He cannot be with other small animals like cats or rodents because his hunting instincts will kick in. Teddy is a big cuddle bug and craves attention, so he will do best with someone who is home often but can be patient with him while he adjusts. He would do best in a house with a fenced yard. If he gets out, he will run.
