My story

LONG TIME RESIDENT!

Twix is an energetic young terrier who LOVES to play! Toys are her absolute favorite and she goes everywhere with them! She is eager to learn tricks and already knows commands such as "sit", "wait", "bed", and "place". She is currently working on some leash manners as well as some other basic training commands.

Ideal Home: Twix will need an adult only home where she is the only pet. A home with little foot traffic is ideal, as she can be wary of strangers and tends to get overly excited with tons of commotion. She would also do best in a neighborhood/living environment with little to no other animals around.

Additional adoption info

At the Delaware SPCA we employ a matchmaking approach to adoptions. This means we approve adopters based on the best fit for the animal and the family. If multiple families are being considered for the same animal, we will use our discretion to find the best fit. If the animal you are interested in has been adopted by another family, we would love to introduce you to another fabulous animal!

Please review our full adoption requirements at delspca.org/adoption-process to make sure you have the paperwork needed to adopt before coming to the shelter.
