Braxton's adoption donation is $250 and he is being fostered in Northeast Ohio. He has been neutered, microchipped, received his rabies, distemper/parvo, bivalent canine influenza, and bordetella vaccines, tested negative for heartworms, started on prevention as well as flea prevention. He has also had a dental cleaning as well.
Braxton is a Shih Tzu mix surrendered through no fault of his own to a county shelter along with Carter. Braxton is a sweetheart. He loves being around his foster mom but isn't quite accustomed to cuddling yet, although he very much wants to learn. He likes to lean in to you and loves head massages. He does get anxious when he is alone so he would do best with a companion dog and a human that is available most of the day. He's not accustomed to climbing stairs, but is slowly learning and may need further training at his new home. He does well on housetraining and has gotten better at leash-walking and loves his time outdoors. Braxton's ideal adopter has a quiet home with a companion dog of similar size and people that are home quite a bit and no children under the age of 12 because he is on the shy side.
