Jonah's adoption donation is $450 and he is being fostered in Central Ohio. He has been neutered, microchipped, received his rabies, distemper/parvo, bivalent canine influenza, and bordetella vaccines, tested negative for heartworms, started on prevention as well as flea prevention. Jonah requires a home with a secure, physically fenced yard and a companion dog of similar size and energy.
Jonah came into rescue through no fault of his own when his previous owner was no longer able to care for him. He is a shy sweet Maltese - Shih Tzu mix who has made a lot of progress in rescue, but will need a patient and understanding home. He has some nervousness, especially with new sounds and activities. He is little fellow of about 9-10 # so no children under the age of 12. He has been working on learning to potty outside and does well if kept on a schedule. Because he is only just learning to walk on a leash, Jonah will require a fenced yard and a companion dog of similar size and energy level as he loves to play.
