Bob's adoption donation is $375 and he is being fostered in Central Ohio. He has been neutered, microchipped, received his rabies, distemper/parvo, bivalent canine influenza, and bordetella vaccines, tested negative for heartworms, started on prevention as well as flea prevention. He has also had a dental cleaning as well. Bob will require a home with a strong veterinary reference because of the condition that Bob's skin and ears and the possibility that it may return.
Bob came into rescue from a local humane society because he needed treatment for ear infections that would require a lengthy recovery time. He was in a home where his owner passed away but it does not appear that Bob had had much medical treatment prior to coming into rescue. He had a severe skin infection and an extensive double ear infection that took us months of treatments to resolve the ears. We continue to address his challenging skin issues. He is on a special diet due to food sensitivities and takes allergy medication. Bob is a shy boy and would be best in a quieter home with no children under the age of 12. He can be nervous in new environments. Bob would do best with a companion buddy of similar size and will require a fenced yard. No cats. He does very well on housetraining if kept on a schedule. Bob has learned to walk on a leash some but is very cautious when out. He needs a home with a patient experienced owner who will give him the time to settle in and learn the rules of his new home. His owner must be attentive and have strong experience working with allergies. Bob is very loving with his owners and will be your constant shadow. He can be a fun and goofy boy who enjoy toys, bones and playing. He travels very well in a car.
