My story

Meet Arthur!

Aruther is a beautiful silver tabby. Don't let that grumpy photo fool you. He is a sweet kitty, he just isn't into having his nap distrubed to get his picture taken.

Arthur's favorite activities are playtime, naptime and dinnertime. Arthur loves interactive playtime and any toy on a string is his favorite. He loves to jump and do little spins. He is fun to play with and to watch. Second love naptime, what could be wrong with that? That other love? Dinnertime? Arthur might love that a little too much. He is on a feeding schedule a couple of times a day, if he is left food out all the time, he tends to eat too much. Who can't relate to that, especially those chips at your favorite Mexican restaurant.

Arthur also enjoys chatting. He is communicate and loves to have conversations with his people

Arthur is a great cat and enjoys all the attention for himself.

Our adoption fees are $125 for one, $216.50 for 2, and cover the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots, microchip, combo test, deworming, and collar and ID tag.

We require our adopters are 21 years old or older, keep the cat inside only (unless on a leash/harness or in a catio), and do not declaw.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We ask all potential adopters to complete an application/contract. Next, we interview all potential adopters. We ask about previous pets owned, if all family members want to adopt, and the conditions in which the animal will live.

Generally we will not finalize an adoption if the animal will be allowed outdoors unsupervised, or if all family members do not agree to the adoption. We also discourage declawing of cats.

Our adoption fee is $125 for one cat or $200 for two and covers a test for FIV and feline leukemia, at least one vaccination, a microchip, collar and tag, and a spay or neuter surgery. All pets are wormed and vaccinated.

Go meet their pets

We hold adoption events every Sunday afternoon at the PetSmart on Greenville Ave just north of Lovers Lane in Dallas. Please check out our Facebook page or call/text 214-912-2573 to find out when our next adoption event will be held.

If you're not able to visit an adoption event, send us an email and we can arrange to meet you at a local business or your vet's office.

Email for weekend adoption event starting times.

More about this rescue

Our group's founders came from other cat rescue groups as we wanted to accept the cats others would not accept; older animals, injured, FIV positive and black cats/kittens. We also assist with TNR and have several traps to loan. We are small and informal, and always welcome new volunteers in any capacity.
