My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tex is a black and white male DSH kitten with a short coat that is easy to care for. We believe he was born in late May; he now tips the scales at around five lbs. Tex is a calm and relaxed little fellow! He greets new people easily and settles comfortably in new environments.
Tex loves to play, but does not overpower his toys. He is partial to leaping after any dangling feathers and ribbons attached to his fishing pole toys. And then there’s his feline punching bag… he will swat and punch at the various stuffed toys hanging from the cat tree tiers! After a good morning’s workout, he’s ready for breakfast and a massage, of course in his BFF’s lap!
Tex has a glossy black coat with soft white fur covering his chest and belly. His paws have both pink and black toe beans. He has a cute ¾ white moustache which makes you wonder if a barber was overzealous with his trimming!
The coloring of his legs and paws is intriguing! When pursuing a rolled spring toy, the white Nike running shoes on his front paws are all he needs. If jumping is required, his all-white high top Converse basketball shoes on the rear paws help him snatch toys in mid-air. In any case, Tex has appropriate footwear for all feline sports!
While Tex is partial to action sports, there’s nothing like watching an LPGA tournament on a Sunday afternoon, snuggled between his BFF’s thigh and a lounge chair’s armrest. Life is good!
Tex is litter box trained, neutered and up to date on vaccinations. He is available for adoption through Sandhills Cat Coalition. Please visit www.sandhillscatcoalition to complete an Adoption Application
