My story

Leelou: brown/black tabby, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 4/21/21, #16606
Curtis: brown/black tabby, short hair, neutered male, born approx. 4/21/21, #16607

Snatched up in a TNR operation by some humans, Leelou, Curtis, and their already-adopted brother were not sure what awaited them when they emerged from their trap at a spay/neuter clinic for homeless cats. Luckily, it involved excellent medical care and lots of snacks from the Rescue House foster parents they met there! (While in their temporary home, they developed a taste for the finer things in life and became connoisseurs of kitty cuisine.) Soon their personalities began to shine, and after chillaxing a bit, they feel ready to take on the world-they just have to find their forever families first.

---Leelou likes to spend her days frolicking with Curtis. If not chilling with him, this social little girl loves to befriend the birds by chattering at them from the safety of her indoor cat tree. Leelou approaches new people and situations cautiously. As a result, she takes a while to evaluate unfamiliar humans and reserves the right to perform thorough due diligence before making a final assessment. (Of course, such a meticulous process takes time to unfold and gaining her trust won't happen overnight!) Show her patience, and let her go at her own pace, and she eventually will open her heart to you. After you two become besties, she'll start purring the moment she sees you and will melt in your arms. Our petite princess adores face and tummy rubs-she knows the best place to receive those in copious amounts is your lap, and that is the only place that will do for her naps! To thank you, she will serenade you with her luscious purrs as she drifts off to dreamland. Still a frisky teenager, she also relishes chasing toys¬-on the ground and in the air!
---Curtis is long, lean, and athletic. As soon as he decides you have passed his test and that he can let his guard down, he will impress you with amazing jumps and leaps in pursuit of his favorite feathered toys... then, he will carry them around proudly! (Just so you know, Curtis prefers real feathers to the plastic kind.) A curious fellow, Curtis will gladly approach other felines and introduce himself, hoping to meet a new buddy! With his handsome tabby markings and adorable ear tufts, he is quite the stud muffin, and he knows how to lay on the charm. Although he needs time in new environments to get comfortable and find his bearings, he will let you hold him once you two become better acquainted. In fact, he particularly enjoys the view from your shoulder and will lay his head on it before beginning to purr deeply when perched up there! Even though he isn't one to kiss on the first date, this guy has it all, and his love is well worth the wait!

While they are not bonded, these kittens would love to go home together! They should do well with feline friends if given a proper introduction. We do not know how they will be around dogs. They have yet to meet kids.

Good things come in pairs, and this duo is no exception! Is yours the forever home these sweethearts have been waiting for?
