My story

DOB 2/26/18. Deidra came to BCC as part of an outside colony (her other "D" named companions at the shelter). Deidra is still warming up to the idea of being petted, but she's come a long way to be less frightened around humans. She loves being with her fellow cousin cats. She would love to go home with another "D" cat from her colony (see other listings). Deidra will need a patient and experienced cat loving family to help her continue to blossom.

More about this rescue

Branford Compassion Club (BCC) is a non-profit feline rescue organization that serves not only Branford, CT, but surrounding shoreline towns. The mission of the club is to provide for the feeding, shelter and care of homeless, abandoned and feral cats; to educate the public about the importance of spay/neuter population control, responsible pet ownership and kindness to animals; and to establish an ongoing community network to achieve these goals.

Branford Compassion Club was founded in November 1997, by a handful of compassionate Branford residents concerned with the growing population of feral cats. The residents united to form BCC to alleviate the hunger and suffering of feral cats in this community.
