Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Reno is a 3 year old purebred Heeler. He is good with our kids (8 and 13), is very loyal and a bit territorial. He is also very protective of his people. We take him everywhere, from camping, to fishing, to hiking and snowshoeing. He does fine on a leash, but does bark when other dogs go by. He's about 35 pounds and in good health.
As his breed does, he tends to nip on rare occasion. He nipped a neighbor kid a couple of times and the parents (understandably) want us to get rid of him. We don't want to have him euthanized, and want him to go to a happy home where he can run, and best case, learn to herd! He needs a place with a big yard. He's used to having a few acres to roam free, though he is kennel trained and stays in his kennel in our absence, and is also house trained. Please be familiar with the breed if you are seriously interested.
