My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ulsan's personality is every bit as unique as his striking good looks. He's a bit cat-like in his independence but also looks to his trusted person for reassurance. Ulsan has had quite the life. As a puppy he was rescued from a South Korean dog meat market and brought to our shelter to start a new life.

Ulsan will require a dog-savvy owner who can provide Ulsan with the confidence, routine, and guidance he needs to adapt to his home. Foster homes have reported he is house-trained and not at all destructive in the home. He is looking for a home where he is the only pet and there are no children. If you are interested in meeting Ulsan, please call or visit our adoption center today to arrange a meeting!
