Esmee is a female brindle mix breed dog we believe to have some Chihuahua in her. She is 5 months old (April DOB) and she weighs 11 pounds. Esmee is recently spayed, and fully vaccinated including rabies. She is on heartworm preventive and is ready for adoption.
Esmee is the absolute sweetest baby girl. She is shy with new people and new situations but she just needs more experiences. Esmee is submissive with people but friendly and playful with dogs. She is such a cuddler with her foster mom. Esmee plays with all wiling canines but her brother Jubilant is her favorite friend. However she tries to make friends with every dog she meets. Esmee has had some work on the leash but she is resistant to it because she is nervous about being or going someplace new. Esmee is potty trained and crate trained. She behaves well in the house and loves toys. Esmee is seeking a home with a fun routine and a playful canine friend.

A completed adoption application and, upon approval, an adoption contract is required. Jeff Tarpley Rescue welcomes applications from homeowners, renters, and condo or apartment dwellers. At a minimum, a phone interview will be conducted and a vet reference checked before the applicant may meet their preferred pet.
We adopt primarily in the 4 states of the ArkLaTexOma. Applicants willing to travel to Texarkana will also be considered with additional requirements to qualify as approved.
