My story

Toby is a 9 year old golden retriever mix boy who is neutered, up to date on his shots and housebroken. He will use a dog door if one is available and he likes to play in the yard or lay on the porch and watch the world go by. Toby likes squeaky toys and laying on the couch with his person. Toby is a very sweet gentleman but he does suffer from fear aggression BUT once he knows you he is very sweet and loving and will be your best friend and companion. Toby needs a fenced yard for his comfort. Toby would do best in a quiet home with a patient and experienced dog owner who will nurture him to be the sweet dog that he is and will shower him with the attention he so desperately craves. Adopter must live within 100 miles of Jacksonville, Florida due to transport limits. If you are interested in adopting Toby the Retriever please fill out an application at www.floridacockerrescue.org ADOPTION FEE: $175.00

More about this rescue

Florida Coastal Cocker Rescue (FCCR) is a non-profit organization located in SW Florida. We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing Cocker Spaniels throughout the state of Florida and neighboring states. We rely 100% on donations and volunteers to help us take care of our dogs. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines and rabies, heartworm tested, flea and heartworm treatment, and microchip. FCCR carefully screens all of our potential furever and foster homes to ensure that our pups will have safe and loving homes. Some of our dogs come from shelters and abusive situations and we want to make sure that they will only see love the rest of their lives.
