My story

Our pets are located and fostered in North Carolina until adopted. Once adopted we can transport to this location or any of our north eastern delivery locations.

This pup was born 8-2-21 to a heeler mom. The dad was a smaller type terrier dog. This pup is extra sweet and social. This pup is great with people, other dogs and cats. We have started potty training and crate training.

This pup is current on vaccines, deworming, preventives and microchipped. This pup will receive a physical and health certificate issued by our vet.

We require a prescreen application to adopt. You can get that on our website at www.saveamuttkennel.net.

5- All pets will be micro-chipped.
6- All pets 6 months and older will be spayed or neutered prior to adoption.
7- All pets under 6 months will go with information for the adopter's to check to see if low cost spay/neuter vouchers are available in their area.
8- All pets will receive a comprehensive physical exam by our vet no more than 48 hrs prior to transport.
9- All pets will receive a certificate of health that is provided to the transporter so the pet can legally cross state lines.
10- All pets will go to their new home with their complete vet/health records.
11- You will get the satisfaction of knowing you saved not one but 2 lives. By adopting one of our rescue animals, you make room for the next needy animal who needs our help!

Please take a minute to read our blog titled "Bella Does Math".  The blog explains some of the costs a rescue might incur with a rescue animal. Just maybe you will see that our minimal adoption fee is really a VERY GOOD DEAL!

Adoption Fees - See Our Website. Please note that adoption fees may vary depending on the dog!

Our animals are physically located and fostered in NC. That means NO MATTER WHAT LOCATION you see our pets listed in on ADOPT A PET that still means the pets are in NC.
