My story

Archie would be great with any cat that will love him. He's a special guy to us. He loves to curl up and sleep with other cats, and he is deeply offended if another cat does not like him. He is 7 years old, and tested positive for FIV - Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. Cats get FIV, from fighting as stray cats with other stray cats infected with the disease. FIV is not a death sentence. Cats with FIV, have a threatened immune system, but as long as you regularly take your cat to the vet for checkups or when they are sick, they can live nice long lives. FIV cats can be around other cats just fine, because the only way to pass the virus is through a hard bite that draws blood. You wouldn't have cats in your home who fight to the point of drawing blood. Archie has one more issue though. He has chronic diarrhea, unless he is fed the prescription food - Hills Gastrointestinal Biome food. To boost his immunity we also give him a supplement of Imuquin, an immunity booster. We are looking for an owner who can provide him a nice quiet home. We would suggest a smaller home with other cats would be great. We also are looking for an owner who will provide him with any necessary vet care in the future.
