Zoey came to Rescue when her owner could no longer care for her. They asked the local Humane Society to help and we are also helping, looking for a home for this gorgeous girl. She's used to living with other cats and will be a wonderful companion.
10/24/21 Zoey is shy right now and living in a foster home in Olney, MD. All the changes in her recent past have been stressful for her so she is getting a chance to chill and feel safe again. Time and space will give her what she needs and why she would do best in a home without small children. Karen
1/2/22 Zoey is much more outgoing now! She loves to be petted and scratched; lies next to me in bed and runs to me when I come in her door. She is very vocal when demanding attention and very much wants to meet my cats. Her fur is sometimes looks black but in certain light it's chocolate brown. She does need an adopter that will give her the time and patience to get used to a new environment and people. I'd love to talk to anyone interested in her. She will be receiving callers at my home in Olney so contact Elaine and she'll hook us up. Karen
Zoey's adoption fee is $150 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. Please email rescuebc@hotmail.com for the application. Include your location and a phone number for future communication.
The first step in our process is to submit an application for review. Once approved, we will contact you to arrange a meeting at our next Meet and Greet event. Our pets are fostered in private homes and will be brought to Frederick, MD to meet approved adopters.
