My story

Poppy is a 15lb male miniature poodle mix who is looking for his forever home. He is two years old and will need consistency and training so he comes into his full potential.  Poppy came from a high kill shelter where he had been picked up after being abandoned on the streets of Los Angeles.   Poppy is loving and responsive and gets along well with other dogs.   He does not do well with children or being surprised. He needs good food and loving care for his fur to come in completely. If you are interested in giving Poppy a forever home please complete an application on line at www.ahome4everrescue.org or visit him at the adoption event on Saturdays from 1130 to 2pm at the Costa Mesa PetSmart.

Why adoption is a great option

Poppy, a Costa Mesa Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Costa Mesa, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Costa Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Costa Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Costa Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Costa Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
