Don’t overlook Ana Catrina just because she is missing an eye—she is perfect just the way she is! Ana Catrina is a sweet gal who is looking for quiet household that will give her the opportunity to blossom.
When Ana Catrina and her siblings were rescued, they had eye issues that needed immediate attention, which they received. Unfortunately, Ana Catrina's condition was too far advanced to save her eye and it had to be removed. The ophthalmologist that treated all the kittens did not foresee the condition worsening or causing any long-term health issues.
Ana Catrina has adjusted to her limited vision with no problem. In fact, she is obsessed with watching all the activities going on outside the window and will sit and keep an eye on all the action outside.
Cute Catrina is fairly low energy and is very well behaved—she doesn’t scratch furniture and doesn’t get into mischief. She has small spurts of galloping, which is a bit comical as her bursts of exercise are most often to run the dinner dish. When she plays, it’s usually with her brother, Maxim, to whom she is bonded. She will join in the fun for a while and then wander off to observe from a distance.
Anna Catrina has potential to be a great lap cat, she just needs the right family that will lavish her with lots of love and attention. She must be adopted with her brother Maxim, who is a loveable rascal, and the two will fill your home with joy.
