My story

My name is Priya. I grew up in a hoarding situation with many, many other cats. I didn't know that I could have my own toys, my own blanket and always full food and water dishes.

I was scared of humans and noises when I first arrived at my foster house. I wanted to hide all the time. My foster mama gave me a name that means beloved because I didn't know I was special. I slowly learned that I can trust humans. Now I'm a completely different girl!

I'm silly and goofy and I love to play. I'm outgoing and like attention from humans but I want to know I'm safe before accepting that love. I enjoy playing with all of the kittens at my foster home. I'm looking for a forever home where Mila and I can be safe and loved for who we are.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

SCSCS requires an adoption application, an adoption contract, vet references, and personal references. The contract is signed after you are approved for adoption. All other items are required before approval. We do offer discounted adoption fees for multiple cats as well as a Veterans' discount. Please inquire for details. All of our cats will be spayed/neutered, FiV and FeLV tested, microchipped, and receive appropriate vaccinations before being released to their adopters. We adopt into strictly indoor only homes who will not declaw our cats. Current resident pets must be spayed/neutered and up to date on shots, and cats must be tested for FeLV, before we will approve an application.

More about this rescue

Silver Cloud Sanctuary has a strong focus on special needs, chronically ill, behaviorally challenged, and senior cats. Most of our cats are cared for in foster homes while being brought to a state of physical and mental health. Once they're ready, they move to the adoption program to search for their own forever families. Some of our adoptable cats have chronic conditions. Please be sure to read their description in it's entirety. Our adoptable cats are shown here as well as at the Walla Walla, Washington Petsmart adoption center.
