My story

Poor Harriet has been adopted and returned twice now. The first time she was returned due to one of the resident dogs not accepting her. Most recently she was returned because the adopters decided that an additional dog in the house was too much work. And so....Harriet is now looking for her forever family, once again. We are hoping that the third time is the charm for sweet Harriet.

Harriet is a quirky senior Chihuahua. She likes to be toasty warm and loves to burrow under the covers in bed with her person or snuggle under a blanket on the couch. Harriet is a great companion and a total sweetheart who provides endless love and laughs. She can play fetch with the best of them, even though the tennis ball is literally as big as her head. And, like clockwork, she will let you know when it's time to go on her evening walk around the neighborhood. She has such a big personality packed into her 9-pound body. Harriet keeps her foster family laughing all the time...she is always doing something silly!

Harriet would probably prefer to be an only dog so that she can have all of the attention of her person to herself, but she does peacefully coexist with the other dogs in her foster home after slow introductions. She is a cat chaser, so a home with no feline friends will suit her best.

Harriet is spayed, microchipped, tested negative for heartworms, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. Her adoption fee is $75. If you are interested in possibly adopting Harriet, please fill out an Adoption Application on our website at www.allpawsrescueok.org. Thanks!

Go meet their pets

We do not have an actual facility as all of our animals live in foster homes in our community. Our foster families meet on Saturdays and some Sundays at local pet stores and other special locations. We will post where we will be each week on our Facebook site located at https://www.facebook.com/allpawsrescueok/.
