My story

Carrie is a hoarding house survivor! In September 2021, we removed over 90 cats from one local home. Sadly, most of the cats are shut down and in desperate need of a patient, loving and understanding owner. A lot of these babies came to us with eye issues, most likely due to the horrid conditions inside the home. We are hoping that these guys can all find their forever homes soon. The Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter boasts one of the highest adoption rates in the nation. Come tour the Animal Shelter, meet a dog or cat, and bring the love of a pet into your home. All adopted pets will be spayed or neutered, will receive required inoculations and will be microchipped. These are included in adoption fees.
