Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I recently adopted a dog from the Cobb County Animal Control shelter where the dog came in as a stray. He is a 3 year old lab (not sure if pure bred or mix). He was neutered when I adopted him and otherwise in good health. He is 75 pounds, seemed well loved by previous family so not sure why they didn't claim him. He is sweet-tempered and generally well-behaved in the house and house broken. He will come with a bag of food, collar, leash, harness and bed if wanted.
I have gone through a lot of emotional changes-losing my dog of 13 years several months ago and moving to GA in Aug to help with my aging parents. I acted out of emotion to adopt Gus (is what I have called him) and realize that I am not ready emotionally to adopt a dog and my cat is not doing well with the new addition. I would like to see if the rescue could take him and find a good match for a family for him.
