Emmitt is a sweet senior dog, and he's been at the shelter far too long. You can do something about that, and we're going to help! Emmitt is happy and affectionate, and has a great smile. He's housetrained and crate trained. We think he's about 10 or 11 years old, yet he's strong, and he walks nicely on his leash. He loves squeaky toys, chases and even catches tennis balls, and knows how to sit on command. We think he'd do best in a home with no other pets. He's medium-sized, with a reddish-brown coat and white markings. If you can open your home and your heart to Emmitt, we will waive his adoption fee and provide you with an adoption kit. Emmitt deserves a loving home for his retirement years, not the noisy stress of a kennel. In return he'll give you the special love of a dog who knows his dreams have finally come true.
