My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello everybody! I'm Hannah, one of the six pups rescued from the outbuilding in NC. I'm a very special girl. Nobody knows my exact age (and I can't remember!) but I'm believed to be 11 or 12. I can be shy in new situations, but once I gets comfortable, I am sweet and happy and outgoing. I love my foster people so much and want to snuggle with them whenever I can. I greet them with a wagging tail and some happy barks. I loves rides in the car but be sure you buckle me in or I will try and help you drive! . I love stuffies, but you need to supervise me (darn it!), as I think the stuffing is yummy. I am polite on leash and only need the slightest reminder not to pull. I am housetrained and go potty outside. I've only had one accident but hey, things happen, right? I have a subtle "tell" and my foster people missed it, so not my fault! I can get grumpy with my fur foster brothers and sisters when they get too close to my food or to a toy I'm playing with by myself. I let them know they are too close with a loud bark. My foster siblings have learned to give me space. If my foster people are on the couch, I want to be curled up next to them and do not mind sharing space with my foster siblings. While I prefer to be with my people, I am more than happy to make other furniture my napping space, too. While I get along with my fur foster siblings, I enjoy time alone with my foster parents where I can be the center of their attention and affection. So a home with another small gentle dog like myself is good. I can also be happy as an only dog as long as you are around a lot and can give me the quality time I crave after living alone with just other dogs and no people. If you think I am the perfect girl for you, please put in an application!
(Hannah is being fostered in southern CT)
