Here's what the humans have to say about me:
THIS IS A COURTESY POST ON BEHALF OF THE CURRENT OWNER.
Russy is an extraordinarily beautiful sight hound, possibly of Rhodesian Ridgeback and Greyhound origin. He is about 4 years old. Russy is extremely affectionate and loves to snuggle with the people he trusts. He follows basic commands and walks very well on leash. All of his dog walkers and trainers have enjoyed working with him. Russy loves to play with his pack mate Oliver but he is aggressive with other dogs and cats. Russy can also be unpredictable with certain people he doesn’t know well and he has bitten a few who have entered his space without warning. A muzzle is recommended for situations when strangers are in the home. For this reason he would do well in a low-traffic household, with no children and one in which he can bond with one or two people. I cannot overstate how loving and affectionate he is with his primary people. His favorite thing is to be in your lap, lying on your chest or leaning as much of himself on you as possible. He’s basically a 48-pound lap dog. But he also loves to exercise his long legs so a yard and regular walks would be preferable. He makes a great walking and fitness partner!
He is healthy, neutered, house trained, current on all vaccines, and microchipped.
Adoption only open to Southern California residents. We do not adopt out to households with children under 10 years old. An application needs to be filled out prior to meeting any of our dogs. An application can be obtained on our website http://www.deathrowdogsrescue.com
