My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey, my name’s Larry. I guess the best way to describe me is to say that I’m a little guy with a HUGE personality. If you are looking for a dog who likes to lounge around and is low energy-I’m not the dog for you. My foster dad takes me on a 2-3 mile walk each day before we even have breakfast. I also have a large pit bull canine foster sister to play with each day and I still would end every night with a game of fetch if I had it my way.
The good stuff about me- I love meeting new people and that includes dogs and cats. I’m all about big, sweet morning cuddles. I listen to my foster dad and I have advanced in obedience training since arriving at his house. I may have not always been so perfect but I’m a fast learner and I aim to please. I know how to walk correctly on my leash and answer to my name. I also know how to sit, stay and go back. And, this is very important, I know what NO means!

I was found completely matted and lacking any basic socialization. When I’m uncomfortable and put in a corner I get snappy. I have gotten much better but because of this a home with small children would not be appropriate. I’m also a bit of an alpha dog so although I like other dogs, a home with another alpha dog would be a challenge. I cannot wait to find my forever family who will buy me all squeaky toys and treats.
