My story

Sweet Athena was found abandoned in a box with four very tiny kittens. She raised her boys in a foster home where they were showered with loving attention. She is a gentle soul who was a wonderful mother to her four kittens –Jaime, and adopted brothers Lucio, Echo & Jessie. She hoped to have a permanent home with her foster family but the resident dog didn’t agree! Athena tried so hard to make friends with the dog, but the dog wasn't in agreement. Athena loved to play and loved attention in her foster home, but now that she is in the shelter, the hustle & bustle of shelter life is a bit busy for her, so she is shy. What you see in the shelter is not her true personality. In the foster home she was engaging, curious and affectionate. She is a quiet kitty who doesn’t cause any trouble with the other cats and LOVES treats. Athena did a great job raising four boys, but now is ready for a home of her own. She is especially close to her son Jamie and would love to find a home with her cuddle buddy. This awesome kitty with her pretty golden eyes is sure to win your heart.
