My story

Hi my name is Bobby. I am 2.5 years old and 61 pounds of pure love. I am a goofy boy who loves to play! The staff say I am a really good boy but don't quite know my strength and act like a big puppy. When I get excited, I might jump on people just to get their attention so no small kids or elderly for me! I am not aggressive, but I might knock them over by mistake. I LOVE people! I went on a playdate and had so much fun playing with other dogs! I am very smart and trainable and have learned to listen well to all of my caregivers. I even went to a train & board for 3 months and they said I was a superstar! I will need some more training but with a lot of love, exercise, and treats I can become the best version of myself. I've been at Paws4you for 1.5 years, way too long for a handsome pup like me! Pick me to be your new best friend! Adopt me!

There is an adoption application used as a pre-screening tool (available on paws4you.org/application), references are required and house visits are made by volunteers. We request a donation with every adoption which includes sterilization, microchip & registration, current vaccinations and a heartworm/ehrlichia test. The adoption donation covers the boarding and medical expenses incurred on all rescues, not just one.

On the 1st and 3rd Saturday of Every Month, at our Retreat located on PAWS4you Retreat: 8717 SW 134th St, Miami, FL 33176 From Noon - 4pm.

Every Saturday from 11am-3pm, volunteers are located at the PetSmart on US1 & SW 136 Street (in Miami across from The Falls). There are various other events that occur throughout the year that are listed on our website.

Appointments can be made for during the week or evenings as well -- please email us for more information to make appointments.

PAWS4you Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit, volunteer 501(c)3 animal rescue organization based in Miami, Florida. Our top priority is to save animals from euthanasia at Miami-Dade Animal Services. An average of one hundred animals are destroyed every day at this county shelter! Rescued animals vary from being sick, injured, homeless and surrendered to simply lost. We give these animals a safe environment, professional medical care, hope and lots of love. Our animals are sterilized, vaccinated and ID micro-chipped. Some require major surgery from a specialist to repair broken limbs while others may need additional rehabilitation time and specific medical care - ranging from bordetella (kennel cough) and skin infections to cherry eye and heartworm treatments. Once Paws 4 You Rescue commits to helping an animal, we seek the best quality treatment available - taking no shortcuts. Our dogs stay at veterinary clinics, boarding facilities and foster homes until they find their forever families.
