My story

Rachel Ann is a fun and loving dog. She wants to love on her people and would be super happy if you would let her sleep with you. You can see the excitement in her eyes when it is time to go out and play in the back yard. She is not a fetching dog but loves to run and play with us and bounce around. She has lots of energy to burn and needs someone who is willing to play with her and make her the center of their world. Rachel Ann has so much love to give and is begging for the right person to give her the life she deserves. She will love her people more than humans will ever understand and you can see it all over her. She thrives on love and affection and wants to be your number one cuddle buddy.

Rachel's Life History: She has been an indoor dog since she was 7 weeks old and has been the perfect indoor companion. She goes outside in the fenced backyard to play with her people but wants to come back inside with them and be the center of their world. Perfect companion for adults who are ready for a strong dog with lots of love and bounding energy. She sleeps through the night and is house trained. She has been crated at night due to the other dog in the house but loves to get in the bed when the other dog is not in the room. Also, crated when her people are not home and does very well in her crate. Rachel Ann has been in one home her entire life and does not do well with the other animals. She is a dog that needs to be the only pet.

Want to meet Rachel in person? Please fill out an application and after approved application you can come for a visit. We can also arrange for a home visit to see how she does with you at your house. Want a video of Rachel first? We can do that too so that you can see her awesome loving personality.

*** Important: Absolutely must be an only pet and can't be loose to roam. Her pray drive toward cats is unstoppable and she will fool you with other dogs. She will not always play well with other dogs and this will result in injury. No small children - she has never bitten or attacked a human of any age and she loves people. She is too large and strong to be with small children. She would do very well with older children who are large enough to handle playing with an 85lb dog.

More about this rescue

Fur Babies rescues cats and kittens from many different situations. All are dewormed and receive a distemper shot the first day in our care if they are an appropriate age. All will be scheduled for spay/neuter/rabies vaccination once reaching the appropriate weight. Our goal is to provide loving kittens to individuals or families who promise to treat them like they are part of the family. We also have feral cats spayed & neutered from cat colonies. Our preference is to relocate these colonies to working farms or loving families living in a safe place for outdoor cats. The feral cats are not usually suitable for indoor living but we have had some lovely families that have acclimated their feral cats to indoor life and it is a beautiful thing to see. I have 3 feral cats that are perfect house cats and great companions to me and each other. They do not allow me to pet them but they hang out with me daily. It is ok to have a pet who believes in social distancing. It is also very rewarding to give these cats a safe and loving home.
