My story

Hi, my name is Pumpkin and I’m a boo-tiful little senior doxie ( 10 years old) who just loves to hang out with my foster mom and k9 sister. I’m quite social, in a low key kinda way. Wherever we go I’m seeing grownups, kids and especially doggies that I really need to say hi to. When I see a leash at home, I get very excited. I don’t walk far on these very short little legs, but I absolutely enjoy being outside. I also like taking my afternoon naps. It’s very comforting to be snuggling with my foster family in the big rocking chair. I also sleep in the big bed with the rest of the family, and know this is where I need to be. No crates for me...too scary and lonely. I’ve spent my whole life being loved and cared for by a very wonderful mom, but she’s gotten sick and now I need a loving family to take over my care and safety. I don’t use the indoor potty pads, but will “go” every time you take me out. I don’t tell you when I need to go, I need to be reminded about every hour or so. I’m up to date on all my shots, have had a dental, had a negative heartworm test and am on monthly preventative. I’m also spayed and microchipped. All I’m missing is a family.
