Sky is an absolutely adorable puppy, thought to be a Husky-Shepherd Mix. Because she has shorter hair, we believe she’s more Shepherd than Husky….but, she does have the one blue eye. She’s a bit stocky and compact, estimated to currently weigh 26 lbs. at 4 months old. Sky and her littermates were born mid-June.
Please note that we cannot anticipate Sky’s weight when fully grown.
Sky is outgoing and playful. She’s got a well-rounded personality, is good with other dogs and enjoys playing with them. Sky loves to play outside in a secure, fenced yard but….she does know how to climb fences, so it is very important that her new family be vigilant when she’s outside.
An ideal home for Sky is one with large-dog experience, currently has another canine playmate for Sky, and has the time, patience, and commitment to integrate a puppy into the family and ensure she receives obedience training in order to evolve into a perfect, well-behaved family member. Obedience training also serves as an invaluable bonding experience for puppy and new pet parent!
Sky has received all vaccinations, is on year-round heartworm prevention and is microchipped for permanent identification. In addition her adoption fee includes her spay.
