Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Scout is a 14 month old, 72 LB neutered male white pit mix (not quite sure the mix but maybe Dalmatian with his thin body and small faint black dots across his back and face. He's fully vaccination, up to date on all shots and appointments and chipped.
He's a loving pup who is house trained, knows sit, stay and down. Comes when he's called, most of the time unless he's being mischievous. He does have separation anxiety and simply wants to be around his family all the time. He will sit in your lap and snuggle as much he's allowed. He is a big dog so he needs daily walks and ball throwing sessions or he enjoys puppy daycare as he loves being around other dogs. Like most dogs, when he meets someone new there needs to be an introduction phase, but shortly after he's typically social and happy to play.
We adopted Scout from a foster family when he was 4 months old and he's lived in a house with two small children (ages 4 & 8) and never shown aggression or bitten. Ever. He does bark at strangers and the mailman so if a guard dog is what you need, he's your guy. Just don't let them know he really juts wants to play and if an intruder were to pet him he'd willing allow them in??!!
He need someone that has the time and energy to spend with him and isn't gone too often. He needs a companion
