Meet Zoey!
She just arrived from one of our rescue partners in Texas. Her owner died and she came to the rescue with another dog. That dog found a new home. She is looking for one of her own.
She is great with other dogs. She loves to play
Basics: She is guessed to be around 1 yr old and weighs about 15 lbs. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines and rabies. She has been de-wormed as well.
Adoption Process:

- one of our team members will get back to you.
- our dogs can be seen by appointment only after an approved application has been received. We do not have a facility. Dogs are in foster homes or boarding
- Adoption fee helps to cover spay/neuter, initial vaccines, rabies, fecal, initial worming, and microchip.
-We cannot place holds on our dogs. Please do not contact us until you are prepared to adopt.
NOTE: We are very good about updating the pet's profiles once adopted. So no need to write us to ask "Is he/she still available?" If the post is up, the dog is still available.
About Us:
Day of the Dogs is a 501c3 nonprofit that is dedicated to helping shelters increase live release. We coordinate 2 - 4 transports per month from TX, OK and AR to NW Indiana/Chicagoland area. We do direct adoptions ourselves out of Dyer, IN area and partner with 12 other rescues and shelters in both IL and IN that are willing to help southern pets in need.
