My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Abe was found wondering around Saginaw in June 2021, after a search for his owners it was determined that he was either dumped or never even had a home. But you would have no idea he was a wanderer! Abe is the sweetest snuggler and loves to give kisses (to humans and other dogs). His temperament with other dogs has been great, he loves his older foster brother (Tucker) and follows him everywhere. When not being his foster brother’s shadow, he loves to play with him and then when he’s tired he’ll snuggle up right next to you. Abe would be great with an early to middle aged, medium/large dog with high confidence. He loves going for walks and has an abundance of energy, he would be a great running partner or simply a walking buddy. He does great on the leash. A fenced in yard would be VERY ideal. Some areas where Abe can improve include general obedience (although he does know sit and stay), mental stimulation, and someone who will keep a consistent schedule. He is such a smart pup and is willing to learn, he loves to please whoever his people are. He is great at listening when he hears his name. Also, he is crate trained and that’s where he sleeps at night. Abe is up to date on vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and current with his preventatives. Would not recommend for someone who doesn’t have the time to keep him physically active or patience to teach him your routine. He has no experience with cats, would not recommend due to his playfulness. Overall, Abe is a great catch and would make a wonderful addition to your family.
