**Courtesy Post** Shorty is a 6 month old cutie patootie!! He is a Jack Russell Terrier mix who will end up around 30 pounds. He weighs 23 pounds now. Shorty is neutered and current on all vaccinations. He's doing well with his potty training. He is crate trained...a blanket over the top of the crate helps him know it's night night time. Shorty is a puppy who is in the chew phase so he needs toys to chew. He only barks to get your attention. He sleeps at night in a crate or doggie bed. Does fine with either and loves to snuggle in his person’s bed when allowed. Shorty loves all dogs and is very submissive. Is gentle with cats and wants to play. He loves all people. Would do great with kids, but he's still learning not to jump up on people so best with older children. Shorty is an active puppy who needs activity and engagement. He is a high energy puppy who needs either active doggies to play with or kids that are willing to play with him. Learning how to walk on a leash but doesn't pull. He's still learning how to walk straight! Will make a great walking companion but may not be best for long distance as he has short legs and a long body...low rider. He sits quietly while riding in a car. He knows the comments for sit, off, come. Loves bones and tennis balls, toys and belly rubs. Dislikes: being left alone. Would do best with another dog or kitty cat friend present. His short little legs, long tail and long body make him so adorable. He is super fast for how short his legs are. When he gets the zoomies...he's hysterical. He's the absolute sweetest boy, is so happy to see you and gives great hugs!
