My story

Helloooo everyone and look at me, Benzo, in my nice lilac scarf which looks rather striking against my dark coat ... I think I look rather dashing, if I say so myself.

I am approx 9 years old - up to date on shots, neutered, and I have had my heartworm treatment.  We just have to wait a little while to retest now to make sure those pesky things are gone.

I would love a family of my own.  I like toplay, but am also content snoozing on the couch and being with my people.  I would do best as the only pet in the home so I can get all the attention.

If you think I would be a fit for your home, I would love to meet you!

Love always,

Benzo

Why adoption is a great option

Benzo, a Dallas American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Dallas, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
