Amazing Ace checks all the boxes. He is crate trained, house trained, obedience trained, neutered, vaccinated, friendly and playful. We can't understand why he is still homeless. Maybe it's the black dog syndrome? Are you looking for the perfect dog? Call Amazing Ace at 985-241-4290.

More about this rescue

We are a small, all volunteer group who want to eliminate the problem of abandoned, neglected , abused animals in Washington Parish. Our area has a huge problem with abandoned dogs and cats for several reasons. One of the major reasons is the lack of affordable spay/neuter programs and lack of knowledge as to the value of spay/neuter. We started a high volume, low cost spay/neuter program in February 2009 and have spayed/neuterd over 1500 cats and dogs since then. We received a PetSmart grant to subsidize our program. We schedule 40 to 50 dogs and cats once per month and will continue to do this as long as we have volunteers, a participating vet and funds. We have 3 foster homes and are able to rescue a few animals. We have contacts with other rescue groups and are building a network for our beautiful parish.
