My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What a good boy! Not only is Sawyer so very handsome, he's the sweetest and gentlest boy you will find. He may start out a wee bit shy, but just for a couple days. He settles in and then is truly an affectionate and friendly loyal companion. This purring machine enjoys being brushed, getting belly rubs, and lovvvvves to play.

More about this rescue

We have created a non-profit animal shelter dedicated to eliminating cruelty, abuse and the overpopulation of animals. The Humane Society is committed to creating the awareness of animal rights throughout the Romeoville community by providing numerous animal welfare programs, including pet adoptions, humane education and cruelty investigations. ALL animals available for adoption are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, fecal tested, fiv/felv tested (cats only), heartworm tested (dogs only) and microchipped. It is the policy of the Romeoville Humane Society to spay or neuter all animals in its care in an effort to reduce the homeless pet population.
