My story

Grady came to us because his owners didn't claim him at the pound. They claimed his sister but left him behind, which is so unbelievably sad. Grady is currently in a foster home with two foster fur sisters. Grady is everything you'd want in a dog. Playful with his sisters and loving with his humans. But obviously with his age, napping is something in which he excels. Grady knows basic commands and is very treat motivated. He loves to eat and must be fed separately because he doesn't want to share his food bowl but he definitely is happy to help others eat their food! LOL! He is potty trained and crate trained. Grady likes soft toys to chew on since he doesn't have many teeth. He is a good boy as he doesn't jump on people, doesn't get on the furniture unless allowed. Now he's also a talker so not afraid to tell you about everything on his mind. If you want to give this sweet boy a home to live out his twilight years, just make application for Grady!

More about this rescue

TBRO is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and we have been rescuing Boxers for nearly 30 years. We started out on a small scale rescuing dogs in the Tulsa area. Over the years, TBRO has become a statewide organization, rescuing nearly 400 Boxers a year from all over the state of Oklahoma. Many of our dogs available for adoption and our foster homes are located in Oklahoma City, as well as Tulsa. We are funded solely by private donations, adoption fees, and fundraising events. It is a constant struggle to raise the funds needed, but it is a labor of love. Our dedicated and committed volunteers and their passion for Boxers are what makes this organization work. We could not operate without those who donate their time, money or both.
