My story

Hound lovers, gather ye 'round! Molly is a giant, happy heart wrapped up in fur with that hound nose that's so endearing. She loves people and getting plenty of kisses, even from those she's just met. She's bounced around quite a bit in her 6years, so it's time that she finds her happy ending with someone who understands hounds like her. Room to run, lots of things to sniff, and a couch to cuddle on sounds like the ideal situation for Molly. Although some might consider 6 years "old," she has bundles of energy so don't expect her to not be using those gazelle legs to bound through the grass. Molly is selective with other dogs and would probably do best with a male dog who doesn't mind her being bossy sometimes. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped!

Additional adoption info

We ask a donation made out to Teacher's Pet Rescue. We spay/neuter before adoption. All dogs are up to date with vaccines, are microchipped and are treated for fleas and parasites. While we do not discriminate based on income, we reserve the right to turn away any potential adopter who does not meet our standards of care for the animal. We also reserve the right to conduct a home visit and remove any animal from the adopted home if that animal is being mistreated or tethered outside for more than a reasonable period of time (dependent on weather conditions). We believe that dogs are social animals and must be with their families. We understand that people must work and that a dog may be left in the house or other suitable place. We do not support tethering the animal during this period of time. Dogs should not be left unattended 24/7. Interested parties are required to complete the correct form, whether it be a surrender or adoption.

More about this rescue

Check out our wonderful dogs for adoption. We are a 501 (c) 3 non-profit association and are located in Coudersport. Our goal is to lessen the suffering and neglect of animals and to help people who have to give up their dogs. We also want to assist people who wish to open their hearts and homes to a new family member. There are a large number of animals in Potter County that are in need of help and Potter County does not have an SPCA. Our goal is to assist dogs in the area that are turned in to us, rehabilitate dogs when necessary, and teach socialization skills. Although we currently have limited space and resources, we are here to help.
