My story

Chunsa is a sweet boy who loves one on one time with his humans and always wants to be near anyone willing to lend a pet. We have seen him grow into a confident, loving companion over the past year. He would prefer to be in a house with no other cats and older children, but he may be willing to negotiate if you have ample beds for him to bury himself under (his favorite pastime).

More about this rescue

Established in 1982, We Care Animal Rescue is a no-kill sanctuary and shelter for homeless animals in the heart of Napa Valley. Our residents live and roam freely in communal spaces with safe access to the outdoors.

Our staff ensures animals receive daily socialization, enrichment activities, and veterinary care — particularly the elderly and those with special needs. We provide a forever home for all our animals, either through adoption to the public or with us in our sanctuary.
