My story

Pit bull male

Tux is all dressed up and ready to go home with you!  This handsome, laid back, 70 pound, 4 year old black snd white pittie mix was found on the hot streets of Phoenix in June with a harness on and burned paws.  We tracked him back to an apartment complex where the people had moved.  Sadly, they never came forward to claim this awesome pup, but lucky for his new person or family!  Tux is now neutered, current on shots and microchipped.  He loves walks, does not jump up on you and loves to go on car rides!  We make him 'sit' before he eats and he sometimes makes the cutest little grumbling noise.  (Please ask for a video of Tux's grumble!)  Tux appears to be very house trained as he will not even pee in his kennel.  He has a wading pool ghat he enjoys splashing in.  He is non reactive to other dogs, but we suspect that he lived with no other pups in an apartment, so no other digs or a submissive canine companion might be best.  He thinks kitties are to be chased, so no felines for him.  His adoption donation is $250.  Don't wait to meet the incredible, personable Tux!

More about this rescue

LWR Rescue is owner by me, I'm not a 501c3, we are funded solely by me and the adoption fees. We love animals and think that they all need to be loved. We treat them like they will be treated when adopted by not crating them, but allowing them to be part of our family. My 2 kids, Miranda 12 and Michael 15 help me run the rescue.
