Bolt is 7 years old and he was my 91 year old adopted Dad's dog . Unfortunately Dad had to be moved into a memory care assisted living facility and we already have a Black lab mix and a cat. They all get along fine but it's just too much added responsibility for us and stress for Bolt and he deserves more attention and dedication than we are currently able to provide. He is more than fine here until the right family comes along. He is super loyal, loves kids, and loves attention (physical petting) and walks. He is more cautius of adults at first but will warm up quickly. He will alert you to unsolited company. He will do tricks like spins around, sit, lay down, shake, lay down and roll over (especially if there is a treat involved. He loves to play catch with a ball and will retrieve and drop it at your feet. He loves long walks on the beach. He will sit after BMs on a walk when promted and will wait patiently. If we didnt already have a dog he would have been perfect for us.
