My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This friendly boy was found running stray by one of our volunteers. He is SUPER friendly and very well behaved. While he was with our volunteer, he got along great with his dogs of all sizes and seems to love kids. Now at his foster home, he gets along great with his doggie roommates, Lemon and Finn. He loves everyone and everything he meets and is just a happy boy. He would do well in any situation - with kids, other dogs or as an only dog. He is a very well-rounded, social dog.

Our vet estimates that he is 2 years old and is an American Pit Bull Terrier mix. He weighs approximately 46 pounds. He is gorgeous and very sweet. He loves getting attention from people and is always excited to see you. He is so gentle and just wants to be a lap dog. He doesn't seem to understand that he's a tad too big to be a lap dog. I guess he thinks if he fits on your lap, he's a lap dog! Lol! He is house trained, crate trained, leash trained and knows basic commands.

Luke's adoption fee is $350. We can do meet-and-greets with pre-approved adopters prior to adoption finalization. Luke has been fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped so he is ready to go! Luke is currently in his foster home in Sheridan, TX and will remain there until adopted.
