Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Finn is about 7 months old. He is incredibly intelligent and eager to please. But like any young dog (especially a high energy one) he tends to get in to trouble. I wasn’t aware just how active German Shepherds were until I adopted him. I myself am not a super active person, but I love to hike and figured he would be a good hiking buddy (which he absolutely is, but for someone who is just as active as he is). I love him to bits but I know our life styles do not match. I have taken him to training classes and he learned everything quickly. He still needs consistent practice of his training as he has a mind of his own. Finn is highly food motivated and knows when you do or do not have any treats for him so he can be iffy on listening to commands, but I know if it is kept at he will end up being an amazing dog. He knows sit, lay, touch, come, and we are working on stay and leave it. He is a little bitey but it is only caused from boredom, I find.
