My story

Mitzy came to us as a stray, and has slowly begun to open up and show her personality during her time at our adoption center. She is a very lovable cat who wants pets and enjoys scratching on her scratching post. She is still shy with new people, but she enjoys getting calm attention and loves to be thrown toys. She has wise eyes, and will roll over and seems to be reading you when you come in to say hello!

When Mitzy was brought into our facility, she had 4 large botfly wounds that had to be attended to. She has long since completed treatment and is patiently waiting for her forever home!

If you are interested in adopting this sweet, curious girl, please fill out an application at https://www.al-van.org/adopt. Mitzy is currently in foster, so if you'd like to meet her, get in touch with us so we can set up a time.
