ADOPTED 1/1/22 by family who has another beagle and adopted from B&B in the past. This guy scored!

Bud Dee is a year, 41 lbs, looong legs and very handsome - classic tri-coloring with emphasis on black. He likes to be in the house with his people - and thus was not happy when he was left outside most of the time.....and when your beagle's not happy, ain't nobody else happy either.

Seems that most of our recent owner turn-in beagles were from folks new to the breed. Young beagles and just irresistible - those floppy ears, white blaze down the face, big brown eyes....and then comes what we call their melodic voice and some other behaviors that are not always to our immediate liking. So, get yourself trained to be a good hound parent - and then train your hound....seduce them into coming when you call by then having a yummy treat; dance excitedly with them moving backwards, a little longer than they want to, to remedy their jumping up on you.
