Koko the gorilla was a beloved primate who learned sign language and had the vocabulary of a three-year-old child. She could rhyme and is believed to have understood nouns, verbs and adjectives. I`ll be honest… our Koko does not know sign language and has a more limited lexicon. Sorry if you feel let down… but he is black like a gorilla though!! Koko is a super friendly boy who loves his human friends and has been easy to walk and handle in the shelter. When meeting other dogs in playgroup, Koko was appropriate, tolerant, playful and easygoing with the other pups. Makes sense- gorillas are social animals! Koko`s only request is that he go to a home without young kiddos- no thanks! Ask to meet Koko today!
