My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rose and Axl - all they've ever known is each other and their former Guardian. This pair has been living in a car with the former guardian and during the cold Winter months, their guardian did the right thing and reached out for help. Rose and Axl have now joined our Rescue Community - what a beautiful pair!!! These two sure do enjoy each other's company and they must be adopted together and remain together for the rest of time. Rose is quite athletic - she can jump extensive heights so a high fence would be necessary. This girl is such a lovebug. Even with her athletic abilities, she has the biggest heart and is just a joy to be around. You wouldn't even know she's there; she just wants to be near you and Axl and is as content as they come. Both of these pups would benefit from an active family who can help to burn energy and enjoy long walks or a space where they can take part in some fun zoomies! Each of these beautiful dogs is small, Rose about 30lbs and Axl about 40lbs. Even though these babes are on the smaller side for their 'breed' they LOVE food! This pair is very food motivated. They do need work on their manners as they may confuse a finger with a treat but they mean no harm - they just love snacks!! They already know the sit command and better yet, Rose knows the 'wait' command also! Axl is a bit more impatient but he's working on his manners as we type! We are hoping to find a very loving, experienced and patient home for these pups. We'd prefer to see them as the only animal in the home with kids over 10 and these pups would thrive from training, structure and consistency in their new home. *Adoption fee is $250/dog*
